This jowar roti recipe (Indian Sorghum Tortillas or Flatbread) recipe is incredibly easy to make, may be made gum-free, and contains no added starch. You may have already tried my similar recipe, Gluten Free Oat Tortillas as well as watched the video. This sorghum recipe only requires one simple change. I know that a few people with celiac disease are also oat intolerant and would appreciate an alternative to the oat tortillas. Now, I have provided you with the exact amounts of water to use. (I also updated the oat tortilla recipe so that you have it there as well.) You can use a tortilla press, rolling pin, or your hands to make them. Enjoy! Soft Gluten Free Naan Pizza
If you’ve already tried my Soft Gluten Free Naan (Indian flatbread), you know it’s pretty incredible. Gluten-eaters even swoon over it. If you enjoy multi-cultural food, you’ll love this mixture of naan and pizza toppings. I chose a mixture of chicken, cheese, and sauteed peppers, and omitted red sauce since I’m allergic to tomatoes. Use your favorite sauce and toppings. Enjoy! Continue reading “Soft Gluten Free Naan Pizza”

Creamy Yellow Mashed Potatoes
I’ve been married for over 37 years. So, I have tried several different methods and recipes for mashed potatoes. It wasn’t until recently when I made a recipe using organic yellow potatoes that I realized they are the best potatoes to use for mashed potatoes. They are simply creamier. You can even leave their thin skin on. I love that! It cuts down on the prep time so much! Continue reading “Creamy Yellow Mashed Potatoes”

The Perfect Gluten Free Pecan Pie Crust
This is a pie crust that contains pecans and flour versus my Gluten Free Graham Cracker Pecan Pie Crust or Flourless Pecan Pie Crust. So, you won’t get any honey graham cracker flavor nor a solid pecan crust. It’s the perfect combination, creating the perfect texture! Just press the dough into a pie plate or springform pan. It is quite delicious without imparting any flavors besides pecan but with a perfect pie crust texture. It’s the best of both worlds! You may add cinnamon if you desire.

Wheat-Like Gluten Free Bread Recipe (Grain-, Gum- & Dairy-Free)
Miss the taste of wheat? Make this wheat-like gluten free bread in your oven or in a bread machine with a gluten free setting. I used the Breadman BK1050S. The bread not only tastes like wheat bread but is fibrous as well. Use it for sandwiches or toast. Due to its high-fiber content, it holds plenty of moisture. The shocker is that this bread contains nuts but tastes nothing like nuts at all. Continue reading “Wheat-Like Gluten Free Bread Recipe (Grain-, Gum- & Dairy-Free)”
