Chocolate Whipped Cream Recipe

Creamy chocolate whipped cream that tastes like a light yet rich chocolate mousse you can make in 5 minutes.

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 cups cold, organic heavy whipping cream
  • 1-1/2 cup gluten free Dutch-processed cocoa powder (Rodelle)
  • 1-1/4 cups confectioners' sugar (Trader Joe's organic for corn-free)
  • 1-1/3 teaspoons pure vanilla extract*
  • 2 teaspoons almond extract**, for an Amaretto liqueur flavor (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Add all of the ingredients in the large bowl of your electric mixer in the order listed. Beat on high speed until stiff peaks form. Pipe or scoop onto cupcakes, slices of cake, use as a filling for cakes, and more.

Tips

*Most brands of vanilla contain corn-based alcohol. So, be sure to read labels carefully if you are on a corn-free diet. During Passover, some stores carry corn-free vanilla extract. Stock up during this time like this one from Amazon.

**Omit almond extract for nut-free diets
