How can you go wrong with the use of buttery scones containing ham and cheese? They are even better than my raved about Gluten Free Cheddar Garlic Biscuits! This recipe for gluten free ham and cheese scones may be served plain or sliced open with a basted egg and roasted veggies (just an idea). So many of my followers have been enjoying the new Udi’s Gluten Free Soft White Sandwich Bread that I thought I would make a copycat recipe.  My husband really enjoys it for toast and for sandwiches. This bread is designed to make sandwiches in advance and the bread remains soft and fresh. It is wonderful to toast as well. (This recipe calls for Expandex.) Keep in mind that while this bread is denser compared to my other gluten free bread recipes, you can leave it on the counter and it will remain fresh for at least two days. Gluten Free Sorghum Flour Bread

It’s amazing how light this gluten free sorghum bread recipe turned out without the use of tapioca or modified starch! It is definitely a sandwich quality bread, which may be made egg-free, if desired (see tips). The dough is moist and soft with a crisp crust. I can’t wait to apply this success to all my future gluten free bread recipes.  Make this bread in a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan or bread machine with a gluten free setting.

Easy Low-Carb Gluten Free Bread Recipe (Paleo, Keto, Gum- and Yeast-Free)

Gluten Free Low Carb Bread

If you’re gluten free and looking to shed a few pounds quickly and considering the keto or paleo diet, you’ll absolutely love this bread! It’s so easy to make and tastes buttery just by itself. While almond flour is an ingredient, you’d never know it. The flavors contained in this bread overpower the high amounts of egg that are typically used in keto/paleo bread recipes.  I’m imagining this bread would make an awesome grilled cheese or bacon sandwich. Give it a try.
