Gluten Free Paleo Peach Crumble
Sometimes there is confusion between crumbles, crisps and cobblers. They all contain a fruit filling topped with various ingredients. A crumble and a crisp have a crunchy topping. A crisp contains oats, where a crumble does not. A cobbler is topped with dough, much like biscuit dough. Gluten Free Panko Bread Crumbs – Breadcrumbs
Panko breadcrumbs are Japanese-style bread crumbs made from the dough of bread without crust. As you can see in the below photo, panko is white, not toasted crumbs. I throw some gluten free panko crumbs into the batter I use for my Gluten Free Tempura recipe as it adds texture. Easy Stuffed Gluten Free Breakfast Cups
I have been craving a good bread bowl, which I have not mastered yet. Instead of making my own, I used a gluten free ciabatta roll made by Schar. They are light and have a wonderful texture.
