We just had a half stay-cation and the other half out of town. We had all of our favorites for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while at home. I hope you enjoy this brunch favorite as much as we have.
Gluten Free Brunch Dessert Waffle Sundae
Do you enjoy banana splits? This decadent gluten free brunch waffle is perfect for dessert. You can even add strawberries, strawberry sauce, or top it with a cherry.
Ingredients:
- 1 recipe Crispy Classic Gluten Free Waffles
- 1 scoop gluten-free chocolate chip ice cream
- 1 scoop or piping of lightly sweetened, gluten free whipped cream
- 3 banana slices per plate
- Tablespoon gluten-free corn flakes (*Nature's Path*) or dried fruit such as pineapple (or both)
- Gluten-free chocolate sauce
Instructions:
- Make the waffles in the above linked recipe according to directions.
- Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (or your favorite flavor) and a dollop of whipped cream.
- Garnish with sliced banana, chocolate sauce, dried pineapple and/or gluten free corn flakes.
