Ingredients

  • 1 recipe Gluten Free Cinnamon Rolls without or without raisins (see above link)
  • 1/2 vanilla bean for filling

Instructions

  1. Oil a 10-inch round baking pan; set aside.
  2. Make the dough as instructed in the above recipe.
  3. If using, slice open the half of vanilla bean and scrape out the beans. Combine the butter for the filling with the beans and baste on the dough as instructed. Proceed with the remaining instructions, and stop just before the rolling instructions. Use the below rolling instructions instead.
  4. When you roll the dough, instead of rolling it from the shortest end, roll from the widest end. (You won’t make as many rolls, but that’s okay.)
  5. Transfer the rolled dough to the prepared pan and allow to rise 30 minutes.
  6. Slice the dough beginning about 1-inch from the center of the ring and repeat about every inch to inch and half. You can twist the slices so that they lie on their sides or not.
  7. Bake as instructed, about 15 minutes at 400 °F.
  8. Make the glaze and drizzle on top. Serve warm or room temperature. Freeze any leftovers; defrost at room temperature. If you prefer them warm, microwave on low.
