Corn Tortilla Bread Crumbs Recipe
Whether you're on a budget or just want a stone ground corn flavor to your breading or both, this easy recipe will get you there. Your breaded foods will turn out crisper too!

Servings 4 enough to cover 4 breast halves
Ingredients
- 8 gluten free 100% corn tortillas from Costco
- Salt to taste
- Gluten free oil spray
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 275ºF with a shelf in the center.

Using kitchen scissors or a knife, cut/slice the tortillas in strips and then in tiny squares/rectangles. Over a baking sheet, rub them between your hands so that half of them crumbles. Spray them with oil and bake for 15 minutes.

Add the toasted tortillas to the bowl of a food processor. Add salt and run process them about 2 minutes or until them finely ground.

Use them in place of gluten free bread crumbs.

They fry up nice and crispy.
