Looking to lose weight or just feed your family healthier choices? This gluten free yogurt bar recipe is perfect. Let everyone choose a fruit and yogurt flavor each time you make them.
Ingredients:
- 16 oz. gluten-free yogurt*
- 1/2 cup fruit**, fresh or frozen
- 6 to 8 homemade popsicle cups (or paper cups and popsicle sticks)
Instructions:
- Plastic popsicle kit or wax-lined cups such as Dixie brand
- In your blender, add one-third of the yogurt and frozen fruit, cover and blend until smooth. Avoid the highest speeds or you will whip air into the mixture.
- Distribute the fruit mixture between the cups/containers, filling no more than one-third full.
- Pour remaining yogurt over the tops, cover with plastic lids, if using a plastic popsicle kit, and freeze until solid, about 2 hours. If using paper cups freeze for about 20 minutes or until partially frozen. Then insert a stick into each cup. Continue to freeze until solid, about 2 hours.
