Sometimes you’re just short on time and need to make dinner in a matter of a few minutes. I totally get it! When you’re in a rush, realize that this one thing that helps save cooking time: small-sized food. This recipe is a perfect example of that, but it combines the use of a microwave as well. Plus, there is no sacrifice in flavor either. These microwave fried potatoes taste better than French fries! Enjoy.
This recipe is available to everyone.
Microwave Fried Potatoes
- 1 russet potato peeled and extra-thinly slice
- 1-1/2 teaspoons extra-light in flavor olive oil or as needed
- Salt and pepper to taste
Add potatoes to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to evenly coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Transfer to a sheet of parchment paper and microwave for 3 minutes on high, turn over, and microwave for an additional 1 minute.
Serve immediately or set aside while you cook another batch. Then reheat them all together on low temperature in the microwave until warm.
