Microwave Fried Potatoes

Sometimes you’re just short on time and need to make dinner in a matter of a few minutes. I totally get it! When you’re in a rush, realize that this one thing that helps save cooking time: small-sized food. This recipe is a perfect example of that, but it combines the use of a microwave as well. Plus, there is no sacrifice in flavor either. These microwave fried potatoes taste better than French fries! Enjoy.

Microwave Fried Potatoes

When you’re in a rush or just want great-tasting potatoes like now, make these delicious microwave fried potatoes.

Ingredients

  • 1 russet potato peeled and extra-thinly slice
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons extra-light in flavor olive oil or as needed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add potatoes to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to evenly coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  2. Transfer to a sheet of parchment paper and microwave for 3 minutes on high, turn over, and microwave for an additional 1 minute.
  3. Serve immediately or set aside while you cook another batch. Then reheat them all together on low temperature in the microwave until warm.
