Fully popped gluten free popcorn kernels right in your microwave without the high cost of microwave popcorn and the GMO kernels.
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup gluten free popcorn kernels (Orville Redenbacher - Non-GMO)
- 1 lunch-size paper bag
- Butter, melted (optional) (Earth Balance* spread for dairy-free)
- Salt, to taste
Instructions:
- Add popcorn to a bag and flatten it. Fold it down about 3/4 inch four times.
- Place the bag flat in the microwave. Set the microwave for popcorn setting (not snack size). Let it run the full time. (All kernels probably won't pop.)
- Add melted butter, if desired. Shake the bag, add salt and shake again. Serve in same bag or a large bowl.
Tips
*Depending upon which variety of Earth Balance spread you use, will depend upon its allergens. The Original contains soy, but they offer a soy-free variety.
