Gluten Free Copyat Famous Dave’s Hot Fudge Kahlua Brownies
A no-starch-addded, gum-free, gluten-free copycat recipe of Famous Dave's Hot Fudge Kahlua Brownies. Rich and decadent, just like the restaurant version!
Ingredients:
- 1 recipe Pick-Me-Up Brownies
- 1/4 cup Gluten Free Kahlua (Coffee Liqueur) (using rum, though vodka may be used)
- Gluten free vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 recipe The Perfect Homemade Whipped Cream
- 1 recipe [Chocolate Ganache] using 1 cup cream (or gluten-free hot fudge topping) (Hershey's)
Instructions:
- Make the Pick-Me-Up Brownies as described at the above link, except instead of mixing in the walnuts, finely chop them and add them to the top of the brownie batter prior to baking. You may mix some of the walnuts into the batter if you desire. Bake as directed.
- Remove from the oven, place on a wire, and baste the top with coffee kahlua or coffee liqueur. Set aside to cool.
- Once cool, cut the brownies into squares, plate the number of brownies your wish to serve. If desired, pour a little kahlua or hot fudge on each plate. Then add the brownie. Top each brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Drizzle the top with warm chocolate ganache or gluten free hot fudge topping. Garnish with a tiny dusting of cocoa powder using a small fine-mesh strainer, if desired. Serve immediately.
