I hope you all enjoy this recipe for homemade cranberry sauce. It so easy and fast to make. I wouldn’t ever purchase canned cranberry sauce again. You can start with 3/4 cup of sugar and add additional sugar as desired, if you like it sweet. Meanwhile, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy your day, and the rest of the holidays.
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 to 3/4 cup + 2 Tablespoons sugar (or evaporated cane juice for refined sugar-free)
- 3 cups frozen or fresh cranberries
- Bring the water and sugar to a boil; stir to dissolve sugar. Add cranberries stir and bring to a low boil. Cook until cranberries burst; smash most of the cranberries; stir; set aside to cool on top of stove. It will thicken as it cools. Store in the refrigerator, covered, or serve immediately.
